this veggie dress is for acrylicana's contest ^^
there are no veggie clothes! so i had to make one. i know its not the best drawing, i mean i can't draw. i would make this for real if i had the time and money, but since i only got inspiration to do this today, and i mean the contest is over on the 19th...well yeah. okay explination time! the top is made if sticks of asparagus, with a radish belt type accesorie on top [sort of like an obi on really pretty kimonos, but made to be a bust], the dress part is created from woven strips of shaved zuchinni and summer squash, while carrots are put on the bottom to add more color and the carrot greens create a type of fringe. around the carrots the black silk [the base of the dress] pokes through just to bring a sort of darkness to it. i hope you like it! and errr....i have no idea why the corner of the page is smuged.... |
